'Childish Things' is the name of what has quickly become my favorite maternity clothing and general baby/child consignment store.  They are where I had my super-fabulous first maternity clothing shopping trip where I made off like a bandit.  I had mentioned to them that I was looking specifically for black leggings.  Michelle, the manager, said, "I'll put it down on our Wishlist and if we get some in your size, we'll call you".  I was thinking that sounded like a good concept in theory, but I put myself down on the wishlist never expecting to receive a call.

Well, a week later, Michelle calls!  She tells me they just got a bunch of clothes in my size (including both a black and gray pair of leggings) and if I was interested, she'd hold them for me to come by and take a look.  Well, that was Monday, but because of work and Community Group and whatnot, I wasn't going to be able to make it in until Wednesday.  But even then, there was no way I'd make it there from work before they closed at 6pm.  Michelle not only agreed to hold the clothes for me for two days, but also said she'd stay late so I could come try them on even after the store had closed.  AMAZING!!!  This is BEYOND customer service!  I went last night and got the two pair of leggings and an adorable black skirt.  I wish the other stuff would have fit better (my legs are just too long!), but I still got clothes for at least 1/2 of what I would have paid for them new and added some much needed items to my maternity wardrobe.  (I had foolishly thought I would be able to make many of my non-maternity clothing items work through the pregnancy, but my belly popped out last week and proved that theory wrong!)

I will definitely be shopping there for the baby's clothing!  Gosh, I love deals.  I'll be riding this high for a while. ;)
